Who answers when I call?
Someone who can actually speak with you about your situation privately and respectfully. Before anyone comes to the residence, Mac or Laura speak with them directly — not an intake coordinator working from a script.
What happens on the first call?
A real conversation about what is going on. No forms, no assessment questionnaire, no pressure. The purpose is to understand your situation and determine honestly whether Vita Nova is the right fit.
Can a family member call on someone else's behalf?
Yes, and frequently they do. Many first calls come from a spouse, parent, or adult child. Mac and Laura will talk with you about how to approach the conversation with the person you are worried about.
How quickly can someone arrive?
When someone is ready, we move quickly — often within days. A private car is dispatched to your door once the fit conversation is complete and payment is arranged.
Is everyone accepted?
No. Vita Nova is a private home with a maximum of eight clients, and we only accept people who are ready and a genuine fit. We are not trying to fill beds. Clients must be 21 or over and medically stable on arrival.
Where is Vita Nova located?
The primary residence is in the Fort Lauderdale area of South Florida and operates year-round. The exact address is shared privately once someone is confirmed.
